Your images look way sharper on my computer than the others that are posted here taken with the A1 and the same lens.

Probably because the one of yours I looked at is full resolution whereas most others posted on FM appear to be 2048px wide so presumably downsampled and then stretched when displayed on a 5k display.

Finally got around to testing the 300 but so far it appears to be no sharper than the 200-600 at 600mm - definitely wouldn't recommend anyone upgrade from the 200-600 hoping to get sharper images.

Certainly it seems to have none of the pop one gets from the 600 f/4.

Here is to hoping there is a dramatic improvement at 420mm because I can't see myself using it much over the 600 f/4.
