First time I ever seen C1 on release day be available. I’m impressed
May have to buy one now.
I’m really waiting on a July show and I’ll skip renting . Right now I’m just putting money aside. I’m not in any hurry. But folks what I’d really like to see as I’m not the guy doing it this time. Is really getting down to figuring out the feature sets but also where are the advantages over current models.
To ME this replaces everything made to date. That’s where I believe the real value lies as this is the last one I’ll buy

I think @arbitrage should start the a1 photos thread so all us lightroom users can have him post photos for us. Going to be painful at the beginning converting to tiff from image edge and then re-doing any real keepers once LR updates.

Has anyone that ordered from Adorama seen any movement on their tracking thru the UPS network? My tracking still says “Shipment Ready for UPS”. Which sometimes happens when large palettes go out from retailers. The individual package often isn’t scanned until it reaches the destination facility.
I’m trying to figure out if that’s the case. Or if Adorama didn’t get the camera out before the last pickup last night. And it’ll be going out today.
I’ll have to stay home from work to sign for the package. So any information would be very helpful.

I won't be posting anything till Friday afternoon. So someone should go ahead and start it now.
You could download the C1 30d trial and process through that as it just got A1 support (except for Lossless RAW). Although that would be a bit annoying if you have to redo everything in LR later.

Someone started it already. I've had mine since 10:45am :-) . Got it set up and pointed out the window at some starlings on my feeder. Already impressed by a simple test in BEAF. It found the black on black eye, and kept with it even into a shadow. To everyone playing today, ENJOY!
