Mine too. Will be here Wednesday. Could have used it today. Lots of activity with twigs and grass in the way at Wakodatchee. Would have been a real test to see how well bird eye af would help.
But, happy mine is coming.

Congrats to those who are receiving their new toys soon! I will probably get mine in early April, don't have anything particular to shoot right now that requires the capability of the A1. Hope to see you guys' unboxing video (just kidding) and real user reviews.

My dealer said he got a very good sized shipment in (I didn't ask how many exactly). He had enough to cover all his SPS orders and some left over for the little folk.
My dealer got one unit.
One.
As mentioned, I was first on the list of his customers who ordered one Now I may not have a camera for maybe a month or possibly more depending on when he gets his next unit. He says he has no idea when it may arrive, he also said The next unit is mine “unless another Sony Pro places an order.”
He had the R5 in stock a few months ago and I bought it from him and decided that rather than preorder from B&H or Adorama this time around I would support a small business since the pandemic has caused so much disruption in small businesses. I figured that I could not only get a camera but also help out the little guy a bit.
So now I have a few brand new lenses sitting here that I had to reorder since selling my old lenses months ago - the 12-24 GM, 100 STF, 135 GM, 200-600G, 1.4x TC and CV 50 APO, with the 35 1.4 GM and CV 35 APO preordered and a deposit for a 50 1.2 GM sitting at the dealer.
Not to mention I left a $3k deposit on the a1 with the dealer since I had ordered the Canon RF 85 1.2 and then decided to come back to Sony. I let him keep the money I prepaid for the 85 to put toward the a1. I didn’t think it was an issue because I was told “you’re first on the list.”
Had the dealer told me he was only getting one unit I wouldn’t have ordered it through him since I knew that SPS would be given priority.
So now I’m faced with a dilemma. I have no cameras at all. Perhaps it was shortsighted to sell what I had but, as previously mentioned, I was told up until pretty much today that I would have the camera in my hand tomorrow.
So, what do I do? Wait an unknown amount of time for the next a1 he gets, buy one at a premium when it shows up on eBay or on the forum? Some of the lenses are out of the return period so if I choose to go to a different system the loss I would take on them would offset the premium I’ll have to pay for the a1 if one inevitably comes up at a premium. Someone told me to just get a a7r Iv and a9ii again from B&H and then just return them before the 30 day return period - hoping the a1 would be available to me from the dealer before the return period ends, but I have a moral issue with that.
Had I ordered from B&H or Adorama I would never had just assumed that I was getting one in the first batch, but I was led to believe that this was the case so I never even had a second thought about ordering lenses.
It may seem like I’m ranting - I’m not. I understand the economics of it and that these things happen. I’m just more concerned about what path to take at this point.

My suggestion would be ordering another one from BH in parallel, meanwhile, rent an A9(II) to test out all of your Sony lenses.

You may want to try ordering one from Amazon. I just cancelled my order with them and was lucky to get it cancelled before they charged my CC. They were ready to ship it to me and I just cancelled it in time. I ordered one from Adorama and used my SPS member priority. Adorama's will arrive tomorrow before 10:30 am. I honestly didn't expect to get one from Amazon in the first batch as I ordered mine 2 weeks after the pre-order date. I was thinking of having 2 x A1's, but have decided to keep my almost new A7RIV for now. So you may be able to snag one there. Good luck!

Mine shipped from Adorama and UPS Next Day delivery shows it here by 10:30 am tomorrow 3/9.

What about just buying an a9ii used and then selling it later on these boards or elsewhere? You could consider the slight loss if any a rental fee.

Thanks, Chuck. I placed it on Amazon and it says estimated date of delivery is between March 31 and April 29th. We’ll have to see if things change with that as I’m supposed to do a few projects between now and then.

Same here!
I actually found out through UPS texting me I have a package coming. Adorama didn’t give me any indication they would be shipping my order today. They sure do like to play it close to the vest!

Usually the first images posted on those threads aren't very good in my experience. And while the first frustration buyers face is whether they get the camera, the second frustration for those getting it is waiting to get support for the files in proper software. Imaging edge is a nightmare to use.

The funny thing is when I checked Amazon earlier yesterday afternoon to see if they had any status change on my order it said something like expected delivery between March 21 - April 15. So I figured I would just wait to make sure my Adorama order was shipped before that time frame. Then when I checked Adorama at around 6:30 pm it said order shipped and I had a UPS Tracking email. So I jumped back on Amazon and sure enough, it said order in the process and getting ready to ship! So I quickly cancelled it and fortunately, it was in time to cancel before shipping but it must have been very close. So lesson learned don't believe what they put on the expected shipping date!

I'm in Victoria and I'll have mine on Wednesday. That is because mine is coming across the country as I don't like paying 7% extra tax in BC. I'll wait an extra day to save $595
