Can’t say enough about all the fantastic R5 captures in this thread. I’ve had my R5 for 3 weeks now and am thoroughly enjoying it. Coming from my 7dmii, to a full frame, 45mp camera, is truly refreshing. I’ve been shooting crop cameras for the past 16 years and am finally able to shoot wide angle, and have it be, wide angle. Animal eye focus is like magic, and am obtaining way many more keepers than with my 7D.
The following images were shot with my 1.4xii extender on the long lenses, 24-105, 100-400ii, and my 500i, all hand held, which speaks clearly to the very good IS. ISOs ranged from 800 to 4000, and PP in LrC, and Topaz. Topaz is a remarkable tool, and can highly recommend it. Again, really appreciate all the accomplished photographers here which continue to inspire me. Peter A.

Some help needed on the positive ID of this critter. I believe it to be a Hackberry Emperor, but not sure.
Female Gila Woodpecker, (In the later afternoon light) :-)
Hummers mess with me too, but believe this to be a Female Anna’s.
