This is cross-posted over on the nature and wildlife board with extra images. Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Florida this past Friday, 100-400MKII, in the wonderful late afternoon golden light. This mated pair of GBH were busy building their nest and interacting. It was a wonderful experience to see their activities.
We're staying at the Grand Oaks Resort near The Villages in our RV as we move around to avoid winter up north. This is an equestrian's dream come true, but I'm not an equestrian . Despite that, I thought I'd try my hand at some horse photography today. It was the end of a weekend event with dressage, jumping, and cross country. We've got another week here, so I hope to do some horse portraits in the coming days. All images on the R5 with the 100-400mkII, shutter speed for the jumping at 1600. The R5 handled tracking and focus beautifully as the horse ran the course.
