I am not having any issues using my r5 with the 100-400ii, but I'm not using a tc with it.
Interesting. Again, compared to my 70-200, 500 is ii and 600 is iii, the IS/IBIS seems a lot more jittery. With those other lenses, the image is buttery smooth in the viewfinder even when hand held. It is unlikely that I could hand hold a 500/600 mm lens more steadily than the smaller 100-400? On my 5dmkiv, it's not as jumpy though it may be time for a trip to CPS.
Nice find Don! I was just telling the wife Sunday when we were there that it was almost exactly a year ago when were blocked out from seeing the little ones fledge thanks to them shutting it down due to the dreaded CV19.
Did you happen to see where it's feeding? In the swamp maybe?
Amelia and the moon. It's not a bird lol. Shot with the 85mm f/2 Macro. She wasn't perfectly still so not really sharp but I liked the semi-BW effect. Moon was with RF 800mm, F/11, 160th, ISO 125

I am a new member and just stumbled onto your images. Really impressive detail! Amazing quality images, this intrigues me as I just bought the R5. I focus on landscapes mostly. Well done!!!
