I finally got a shot of a Female Peregrine Falcon in a tree with forest background, not sky, that has been breeding here under the Mississippi River Bridge at Hannibal, MO for at least the last three seasons. R5 800mm f11 1/2500 ISO 5000
Lovely images in this thread. I just purchased the R5 and it will be here hopeful by Wednesday! Can't wait to put my 100mm L macro on it and add some images to this thread.

I love it. If I do my part, it more than does it's part. It along with my R5 have been game changing for me. Price point is great for the IQ, IMO.
Thanks. I've been contemplating the 600/11. I don't think I'm going to go for the 800 because the size reduction isn't really enough to let it fit in normal bags, but the 600 is. Though this is low priority, as I don't shoot a lot of long stuff or birds or the like, except a handful of times a year, but I have a Sigma 150-600 that works pretty well for that purpose. Wouldn't mind having a compact supertelephoto that I can pop in a shoulder bag, though.
