Interesting feedback here - some love the lens, some have issues with it. No matter what - its all about the end product, and for me, this lens is a winner.

So far it's a winner for me, too. Sometimes I miss the Sigma look (slightly sharper, smoother bokeh) but I definitely don't miss the size and weight.

This is my current favorite lens, and I recently had the chance to try it our for some night/street scenes in Paris. IMO it's great for this purpose, because it's small, light and unobtrusive (I didn't feel like I was point a big offensive lens at anyone).
Real new to this lens. Really impressed with it so far. Particularly for close focus... Here's the buckle on my everyday small walk around camera bag...
Spent some time with this lens in Philly yesterday. Here are a few from Fishtown, one of the city's trendiest and up and coming neighborhoods. Still pretty funky on the exteriors, but the interiors are another story...
I'm switching systems from Canon, so the 35 and 85 f/1.8 G series will be my first Nikon primes for a D750. The f/1.8 G series of primes is part of what I liked about the Nikon system. I was worried I should have gone for the Sigma 35, but didn't want the extra weight and expense. Looking forward to contributing to this old thread.
Spent the weekend in New York City and used the 35 f1.8 a fair amount on Saturday, mostly for street shooting. Here are a few of those and one of breakfast. Pretty nice multi-purpose lens...
