The other day Nikon Store had some 38/1.8G ED FX refurbs priced at $429. With 10% off and free shipping, that's $386 only and I was surprised at how high the retail price for it was set initially.

At the time I was trying to sell mine on CL and a guy emailed me the link and asked me to match the price at Nikon Store. Of course, I wasn't able to do so; but, that was how I learned the refurb price.
From the past weekend. Actually I goofed a bit and meant to take 20/1.8 but you know how that go, getting up at 4am for an early flight for a weekend trip, I grabbed 35/1.8 by mistake. At least it still worked out quite well.
Maybe you guys have said it on here but I’m too lazy to read; How fast is the focusing on this lens compared to 24mm f/1.4G, 28mm f/1.8G and 35mm f/1.4G?
