If it’s anything like MF on an X100 (and people say it’s similar), MF is pointless and extremely frustrating due to the imprecise fly by wire nature.

I see this camera has a manual focus assist feature called “focus map” which turns focus points green when in focus, yellow if in front of focus and blue if back of focus. This appears to be a feature in the GFX100S II and GFX100 II.
Anyone have any experience with this feature? How well does it work?

There still may be some hope. I've had a Mac Studio back ordered at B&H for a month now. Tonight (8PM PDT) it now says it's a "New Order" and "Processing" in the title bar of the order detail page. At the very same time it still says "Backordered" in the status column. So the B&H computer is in the middle of updating the page.
Since the 100RF isn't schedule to be shipped until the 24th maybe Tuesday or Wednesday night that New Order and Processing update will pop up then for us also...
Respectfully, your MacBook update has nothing to do with anything Fuji related. Fuji have now officially announced all preorders for the GFX100RF are paused, which is a completely different situation to that of your MacBook. The only hope is that some preorders have made it to US soil before the suspension (which means all shipments to the US are now official paused as well), but we don't know if BH has any of those and if they do, we dont know how many. This article doesn't paint a pretty picture :https://petapixel.com/2025/04/21/fujifilm-suspends-some-us-camera-orders-due-to-tariffs/

The connection I was making between my Mac Studio and 100RF was I ordered both from B&H, a month ago. Both were also backordered until tonight when the Mac's status changed. The PetaPixel article certainly is pessimistic about the 100RF being in shipped to anyone in the US right now. I'll see what happens here with my 100RF order over the next couple days :-)

I contacted B&H by chat this morning. I found out I missed the April 24th shipment. I pre-ordered on the first day a black model at 10am PDT.
B&H doesn't know when the next shipment of 100RFs will arrive. I asked again if my pre-tariff price will hold and this was the answer: "For now. I cant guarantee as we have not been advised as of how thats to be handled. If there was a change, you would be notified via email".
So, with my trusty Q2 in hand I'm going to wait and see what happens.

That's disappointing to hear! I ordered 20 minutes after you so I'm SOL too. I'll try my LCS though don't hold out much hope. I tried to buy a X100IV last year and had the same experience. Fuji can blame the tariffs this time around but they did the same with the X100IV and X-M5. Their marketing performance is outpacing the manufacturing be some considerable margin.

There was recently a temporary tariff carve-out for computers, so — at least for now — that may free up import of the Apple hardware.
No carve out for photogarphy gear though. Expect a ton of turmoil giving forward. Take a look at all of the things you use to make photographs: camera, lenses, batteries, computers, monitors, printers, paper. How many are produced in the US? And, if you can think of some that do, how many of those use only components/materials that are US sourced?
The things that are affected by the tariff wars include all sorts of stuff you would never expect. This morning I read an article about how various hops and other ingredients that American companies use to brew domestic beer come from all over the world. And it isn’t just a matter of plugging in an alternative American agricultural product since the specific formulation of certain types of beer depends on the use of hops from particular regions of the world. Oh, and the stainless steel in the tanks used to brew it? Guess where that comes from.
Shoes? Clothes? Home appliances? Televisions? Car parts? Olive oil? Coffee? Batteries? Gardening tools and supplies?
In addition to the effect of the import tax (as high as 245%!), consider also that the value of the collar is now dropping against other currencies, which independently also raises costs for things like… cameras.

spyderphil, the exact time on my B&H 100RF order email is 03/20/2025 10:13 AM PDT.

7 mins earlier than me. I ordered Black - you?
I didn't think I'd like the camera but got to try it at the Fuji store in London and ordered it immediately after.

Yes, I ordered black also. It has the "Best Seller" designation at B&H, silver does not. So it goes...

I talked to customer service at B&H regarding my silver pre order and was told it didn’t make the cut for the first shipment and they have no idea when it would be fulfilled.
Apparently they got a lot less stock than expected. Unfortunately this is a recurring theme with new releases, if I order from B&H.
I did notice that Amazon suddenly let me order a silver one, which I promptly did. Shipping date estimate was 24th April. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Immediately after my order at Amazon, the status of the GFX100RF silver product page changed to “Temporarily out of stock”.
So, hopefully my order will go through. I would rather get it from B&H, but I have never had any luck with them , no matter how early I order.
If my Amazon order ships, I will cancel my B&H order.

I ordered a silver from B&H with confirmation email 2 mins after pre-orders went live. B&H chat support says I "likely" made it in the first batch ... which they also said STARTS shipping 4/24.
I've been through this with the X100VI and other cameras so honestly I'll believe it when I see it!

I also received my confirmation email 2 mins after preordering silver, BH just told me I was in first patch. Would be interesting to see what our order numbers are compared to each other. You can private message me if you dont want to blast it publicly. I am curious if they are full of crap or not.

Honestly I don't think we will ever REALLY know until it ships, unfortunately. For us who went through the X100VI, at the end of the day some people got theirs earlier who ordered later AND had later order numbers (there was an order list on Reddit where hundreds of people if not more were sharing tracking info).
Personally I hope for the best and expect the worst.....
Had too many people make promises they couldn't/wouldn't keep so yeah there's that . And this is also pretty new territory with a release mixed with all the stuff going on. I will certainly report back if/when anything progresses on my side.
