It is exactly the color scheme I have on my M11 for the last couple of years. A reverse Panda. I do have a silver 50mm lens to complete the look. I have a silver thumbs up too.
I started with a silver M11 and skinned it to get the look.
I was just ahead of my time I guess. 🤣

Gotta be honest, kinda disappointed as to how tame that special edition is. It just looks like someone swapped dials. I was expecting gold inlays, maybe some engravings of palm trees. And I'm not kidding.
This? snooze fest.

Looking at this actually has me worried.... are the knurled dials on the glossy black M11 actually silver underneath??
I know the literature says the top and bottom plate are brass... but they don't mention the dials. If the paint on my glossy black wears off the dials and it's this tacky silver colour showing through I'll be pretty livid.

How is a black with some chrome "Dubai"? Because they stamped Dubai UAE on it?
It should be sand coloured with gold. Or something like the Drifter monochrom. Preferrably with a Louis Vuitton pattern. In fact, there should be a Louis Vuitton version sold in Leica Dubai.

It reminds me of the country editions of the M7 that just had a corresponding flag on top.

My guess is that Leica will issue this reverse Panda two tone design for a variety of locations. All the same color scheme but different locations engraved on them.
This is more subtle than some of the more garish special editions. If your from one of these locations and going to buy an M anyway, why not get one of these if the premium isn't too big.

Here is my two year old Reverse Panda Color scheme M11. It includes added features like a silver thumb rest, black soft release shutter button, half case with ARCA compliant aluminum base, a custom built and hollow rope braided strap with red binding, and a silver third party but excellent lens. You may want to tape over the red binding and red dot when traveling to less gentile locations.
This special edition also has the "never freeze option" with included compatible SD Card.
I have decided to name it the "La Jolla" very limited edition. A total run of one has been produced.
