AF speed seems really good. I haven't tried 2xTC yet. Will do so this weekend.
It has been a couple years since I last shot Z9 and Z8 with native Z lenses so I can't say for sure if AF speed is matching what they do but it seems very similar. I only had the Z400 f/4.5 and Z1.4TC so haven't ever tried the 400TC or 600TC with the faster AF motors.

These look really good, apparently the 300GM matches really well with the colors of a Nikon Z camera, making the lens look like a Z400TC. This shows how good the 300GM really is, and also how good the Nikon Z cameras are as far as IQ goes.

disclaimer: I have an Eizo CG2700X, not all displays may show this as well, but the subtlety of colors and detail is amazing. I hope you'll also post some samples of the Z9 with the 300+2xtc combo
