One of my computers updated to Lr 12.1.0 and another one eight feet away in another room wouldn't show the update on Creative Cloud in spite of opening and closing CC several times. Rebooted the computer and CC finally had it.

Time for C1 .
I followed most of Colbys settings for my A7IV which his chart has more the A7RV stuff. But the one thing I found is NOT on the A7IV. Anyone want to just try it and see
3. Focus Mode – Allows you to switch from Manual to Single Shot to Continuous AF modes
I will try for sure when V comes tomorrow
One cool feature if I set a custom button for Variable shutter I also get to Anti flicker in the same button. Of course you have to be in Mechanical Shutter mode

One thing is he does explain Silent/Mechanical shutter a little different than I do. Same but maybe worded better than me
Use Anti-Flickering Settings to Help You Shoot Under LED Lights (NEW)
If you have ever tried to shoot photos or video of a scene that is being lit by LED lights, you probably know about the light flickering that can cause serious issues. LED lightls operates at a different frequency than normal lights, which can be picked up by the Sony a7R V. To help solve this problem, Sony gives you a few options:
Anti-flicker Shoot (Automatically tries to time your exposures to eliminate the flicker)
Var. Shutter (On/Off)
Var. Shutter Set. (Allows you to set Odd Shutter Speeds)
The key to solve the black bars that might appear in your frame is to either use the Anti-flicker Shoot function to help you with timing your shot when flickering isn’t detected and/or to try to match your shutter speed to the exact frequency of the LED lights present using the Variable Shutter options. If you can match the exact frequency, the black bars should disappear. New to the Sony a7R V is the ability to Scan the scene using the “Anti-flicker Tv Scan” found under the “Variable Shutter Set” function to help you automatically find the right frequency.

Now this is glory right here finding it

Ridiculously hard to find the ACR update. But if you go to< https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html> and use the "install latest update" button, it actually downloads 15.1--even though that's not what the page says.... Worked for me. It may also be updated with the new versions of Bridge and Photoshop.

Nice trifecta set of zooms for Sony, move over primes !!
Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f4 G a few other option's here as well
Sony FE 24-70II GM
Sony FE 70 -200II GM
In my old age, I'm not sure I'm up for those longer ones, but the 16-35PZ works for what I'm doing, much to my chagrin as a MF prime fanatic.
To keep this A7R5 relevant, I set up a high-res test chart (starburst thing that has an incresingly high frequency pattern moving towards the center) far enough away from the camera that the higher frequencies exceed the Nyquist limit of the sensor, and verified that the 16-35PZ generates Moire at the corners from wide open at all focal lengths.
(I should redo this with pixel shift. Some day.)
It may not be riduclously insanely sharp like the Loxia 25, and it doesn't do the lovely sunstars at f/2.0 that the Nokton 21/1.4 does (it does OK sunstars at f/11), and it won't do the psychadelic bokeh of the Nokton 35/1.4, but it will produce reasonably sharp images across the frame on a 60MP camera at any f stop. It's a keeper.

Oops. I'm wrong. The Moire I was seeing was a jpeg on the camera screen artifact.
I'll try again. Now that Lightroom finally made it to English-language users in Japan. (English is still easier to deal with, even for a retired translator.)
