Search in "All Mail", or just do a gmail search for "NPS".
At 4:01pm NPS sent me a message identical to HappyCamp's. But it was not visible in my regular mail.
It was in "All Mail"
So, according to this NPS message, all NPS priority requests (if submitted to the NPS dashboard by December 19) will be fulfilled between December 23 and mid-January, 2022.

I got the same email from NPS, but I assume nobody has received the email from NPS saying their Z9 shipped to the dealer, correct?
Not sure how folks know when their Z9 will be shipping, besides “before mid-January 2022.” Clearly some will be in first shipment, but others will not, right?

I do not know the answer to your first question. Oh, when each of our Z9's ships, NPS will notify each us .
I believe the answer to your second question is "yes".
Wish I could add more to it. All three of us received the same message. I am just hoping and thinking that George's is in his "All Mail"

I did! Got one an hour ago from NPS that might Z9 is scheduled to ship and my camera shop will have it between The 23rd and 28th. Probably will be there the 23rd since it's not that far. I probably won't get it until next week because of Christmas but that's fine! 🥰

It's official. NPS sent me an email.

Excited! I ordered from BH a few days after announcement, and put in the NPS priority request on the Dec 14th. Hoping to get it around New Years as I have a shoot scheduled. And then not so much planned till spring.

I got a second email too, that it's on the way. Very excited, and so great they put out an email to all NPS people to clarify what to expect. Excited to try it out on the birds.

ZWade Photo says B&H rep told him yesterday they will ship out 4,000 Z9 preorders on December 24. A commenter on his vid says B&H told him same thing. I’m skeptical. But we’ll know in a few days.
EDIT: interestingly, a member on another forum who may also be on FM posted today in realtion to this video:
"I can confirm the same thing from B&H. I paid as well by the B&H Credit Card and the Rep said that they will be shipping out my camera on the 26th. They have 4000 on the way to the warehouse I was told. And my order due to the expiration date of the B&H credit card will be shipped out first. Thats what I've been told!”
Is it possible Nikon USA is prioritizing the B&H allotment for the initial availability?

The email that I received from B&H yesterday said that orders made before their current card is discontinued (January 17, 2022) and fulfilled on or prior to ~April 4, 2022 will be honored. So essentially B&H has until ~April 4, 2022 to ship out items purchased with their current credit card before it is discontinued.
Cut and pasted from the email:
"The B&H Financing Credit Card program is being discontinued. Effective 11:59 p.m. EST on January 17, 2022 ("Purchase End Date"), you will not be able to make new purchases with this account, and your account will be closed on approximately April 4, 2022 ("Account Close Date").
Please note the following important information:
• You can continue to make purchases with the B&H Financing Credit Card until the Purchase End Date and your account will continue to be eligible for special financing offers on qualifying B&H Photo purchases.
• Although you cannot use your B&H Financing Credit Card for new purchases after the Purchase End Date, if you place an order by this date that is shipped by the Account Close Date, the order will not be impacted and may be charged to your account. If however, you place an order by the Purchase End Date that is not shipped by the Account Close Date, you will not be able to use this account as a payment method for this order, and you will need to arrange for a different payment method for this purchase. B&H will contact you directly to discuss your options, if applicable."

I seem to recall the letter to me regarding my Synchrony Bank B&H Credit Card account was going to cease as of January 17th and no further purchases would be possible as well as my need to reapply at that time to keep a backorder active on the account as they are changing their relationship to another bank. In the world we live in now I suppose there is the remotest possibility that a company with the clout of a B&H could hold the dagger over Nikon's head saying they will lose out on many hundreds of orders due to the loss of their financing perk which is directly tied to so many Z9 orders. Who knows. It is possible (perhaps not likely). But the good news is we will indeed all know on Friday if and or when we should happen to get an email showing it's been shipped, and our cards charged. I'm not a betting man and would tend to say it's NOT reality. We are about to find out.
