Some would argue here that a "street" lens should be relatively compact, not to stand out too much ... but I also think it's a great lens for that (with 35mm you can actually get some "wide" shots and the extra aperture brings extra possibilities). It also helps that it's crazy fast to focus in normal conditions.

Chipping Sparrow and Yellow-rumped Warbler against the gorgeous mineral deposit landscape in Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National park... I wish I had my 600mm with me during this hike, but I only had my A9II attached to Tamron 35-150 with me. And these tiny birds were not very close, so these are rather large crops but still the lens didn't disappoint...

I finally got a hold of a copy and I’m happy with it’s performance on my first outing. Autofocus was good, I blame most misses on user error. Here’s a bike coming straight at me at about 20mph. No adjustments made in Lightroom, just resize on output.

I got my lens yesterday and I am looking forward to using it.

How's the fit in that bag? Is it pretty cramped or is there room for things like spare battery or the grip (like a PD clutch)? How easy is it to remove?

It's just right. Not too cramped. I have RSS battery grip attached to my A9, so I am sure PD clutch will be okay too. You can put a spare battery and a couple of SD cards in there, but nothing more. It truly feels like a custom-made fanny pack designed to fit this lens and camera combo.
