I ordered from B&H on 3/17 immediately when orders opened. Still sitting at 'Processing.' But I called them up a couple of days ago and changed mine to in-store pick-up so hopefully that doesn't delay anything.

Sometimes they ship a day earlier than the day for in-store pick-up because they know the recipients for shipments can't get them until the next day at the earliest.

Still no change on my B&H order placed 4/25. Still sitting at "Backordered" (same status since day 1 of pre-order).
I reaaaally hope they have enough stock for me. I've been itching to play with my A7C more since I traded in my Canon kit (5D IV, 24-70L II, Sigma 50/1.4). All I have right now is the Samyang 35/2.8

texted the store I pre-ordered from this morning, and was told that their first batch of lenses is delayed by a day or two, but they will have one for me in that first shipment. hoping I have it in hand early next week.

I've had luck with Milford Photo (CT) before when I was able to get an R5 at launch without a pre-order. I know nothing about their 50mm GM allocation but it's at least listed on their site. You might want to call and ask.
