I have noticed that a lot of my shots don't look quite as sharp as i remember my photos being on my A7Rii when looking at them 1:1. I switched to Mechanical shutter because I know that gives the best bokeh, but I guess it's back to EFC shutter until this is fixed.

This is why I wish Canon would just make a still photography camera only and not try to cram all that video stuff into one camera body. I see Sony has started doing something along those lines. A video camera that can take photos, too. Fortunately, I am not interested in the video aspects of the R5, but I do understand the convenience factor of having an all in one camera. However, if I were a dedicated videographer, who shot weddings etc., I'd buy a dedicated video camera, along with a typical camera...but that's just me.

That 'bokeh improvement' is only for 1/500s and faster, below that the effect doesn't seem to be noticeable.
