Wow! Outstanding shots Pius.

Edit: I had to go look at them again.
Is your back yard is large enough for a small tent where a redneck from SC could sleep for a week or two?
You BC area folks are spoiled rotten I tell ya.

Damn, you guys are killing it with these amazing images! I might have to stop posting any of my visual carnage until it settles down a little in here.

Outstanding work Rob!

What smoke haze? You smoked these but I don’t see smoke haze.

Outstanding images Pius and Rob. Cant wait for my 600/4 RF.
After shooting Nikon for many years, it is hard to get used to Canon ergonomics.

Are making a full switch to Canon, Harsha?

I have been thinking about mirrorless switch for a long time. Nikon is way too slow to come up with a fully functional mirrorless system. Almost went with Sony. I felt canon's IBIS + lens IS was the best out there.. Even better than Sony. Automated quick focus stacking feature was the deal breaker for me.( Sony doesn't have it). This enables me to focus stack a scene while handholding. So right now I got a R5 , 24-104/4 and 100-500. So far happy with it but nervous about learning a new system.
I know eventually all three manufactures will have very capable systems.

Exactly the same setup that I have!

Most definitely ... at least 2 stops better than Sony. You get up to 8 stops of IS with the 24-105L and 6 stops with the 100-500L:

Two very impressive shots Bobby.
I don't like carrying a tripod. Tripod limits the compositional options and creativity in my opinion..

Hi Rob,
Very nice. Did you use animal eye tracking or zone AF for this shot?

Have you noticed an advantage to turning off the eye detect for these fast/erratic BIF?
