Some have questioned the sharpness of the 200-600, as well as its usefulness for sports. Here are a couple golf shots, I found it to be quite adequate for the job.

Just back from 2 week trip to Arizona. Took my A7Riv and 200-600 to a couple of my favorite birding sites, Kachina Wetlands up by Flagstaff and Bubbling Ponds in Page Springs just south of Sedona. While it had been a particularly dry Spring the birds were still plentiful and cooperative. Here are some Osprey pics from Bubbling Ponds which is next to fish hatchery (still closed due to Covid) where they have several trout ponds. The Osprey show up around mid afternoon and are constantly hovering looking for a meal. Was fortunate to get some decent pics of Osprey both attempting to catch a fish and after being successful. My favorite shots were right after the Osprey did a big water shake and the air was full of water droplets surrounding the Osprey and his catch. Hope you enjoy.
PS... I have dozens of pics from this same outing with the Ospreys. Let me know if anyone wants to see more.

Here are some pics from Kachina Wetlands where I got some nice shots of two of my favorite birds to photograph, a Bald eagle and some White Faced Ibis. The Bald Eagle stayed around inflight for awhile giving some nice views but unfortunately was somewhat back lit, but I enjoyed the opportunity anyway. The couple dozen Ibis showed some great color and were fun to shoot both inflight and wading in the water.
