Man.. that's impressive. Really is an impressive lens. I've wanted one for a long time and guess I felt like I might of blinded myself to other options potentially. But man it really can get sharp images. Should also say honestly all these shots. I've gone through over 100 pages of them. It's insane how well it hits

Full disclosure I'm still learning this lens a lot.. I used to think just getting a telephoto lens would immediately let me take everything I learned with my Tamron and become a bird/animal snapping god. Frankly I tip my hat to all of you posting these amazing images in this thread since after working with this lens for 2 weeks and a few days now. I'm amazing at how sharp and clear you all make these pictures. I'm also amazed at how well you all control the 3 aspects of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed.
Trying ASTRO hand holding(underexposed I think a lot tbh)

Full disclosure before I get nailed to a cross.. I know these are under exposed(even light room seemingly couldn't save it entirely) and one isn't in super good focus. It was about 30 minutes before the sun fully went down. I guess it had came out to find dinner and the blue jays I guess took it personally and had been dive bombing him trying to pull his tail feathers out which I found one on the ground this morning. By the time I got out there he apparently had about enough of it I guess and I captured him leaving. I assume it's a male as it's my understanding they hunt and bring it back to the female but guess I could be wrong.

I haven't posted to this thread in a while. 400-800 coming on Tuesday and will be the main carry. I bought this one in August 2018 at release, and it has been a good one.
