Not sure if anyone is interested in video but here's an example of what the 200-600G+2xTC (@1200mm) can do in 8k video. Recorded internally on the a1 in 10-bit 4:2:0 @24fps using SLog3 (PP8). Shutter speed was 1:50 (standard 180-degree shutter angle) and aperture was stopped down to f16-f20 which is easy to do in good light with such a slow shutter speed. Post processed using FCP and graded in one minute with the Cinema Grade plug-in.
Distance to nest was 80 metres. I'm very pleased with the performance of the a1+200-600+tc's for video, which is the reason I bought into Sony.

Just got back from the Badlands, and some friends let me know about a couple of screech owl nests with young ones in them.
We found a couple of the young ones on a branch, but I'm really liking the shot I got of the adult keeping an eye on them.
