More from the back-yard blind after work. Unfortunately at this time of day the sun is blocked by some trees so I tried to take the shots in the slivers of light.
The Fox Sparrow is a highlight. I had actually never seen them here before this year and today there were two foraging around.

Sometimes the subject is just too far away, but you take the shot and try to make something of it.
Real close to a 100% crop.
She's about 120 yards away.

A couple painted turtles I saw this morning at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Preserve. Needed a three shot HDR bracket to deal with the highlights on their backs, and that was probably not enough.

Probably a CPL would have helped in this situation. I bought a 95mm CPL from Breakthrough, but have never put it on the 200-600.
