it's a great lens for this price. I know many wouldn't mind paying more for it. I remember when it was first leaked, everybody was shocked that it was internal zoom, then we were all pleasantly surprised by MSRP.

I got the lens from another FM member and I got the camera new at something close to the EDU discount. I wish I were still a student but alas, just a working lad with some friends in the business .

One of my favorite images from the A7Riv and 200-600mm so far. Caught this eagle just as it turned sharply to dive for a fish. Taken this week at Conowingo.

I'm back on board with an RIV and 200-600, after bailing earlier in the year due to focusing frustrations. THANKS to AGeoJO and others who've posted some recommended settings post-FW update, I feel that things are better with this combo, and I had a pretty successful day capturing both static and BIF with a high percentage of focus "keepers"
