Z6 IBIS - a step above my D750... this 4 shot, hand held pano was captured at 1/8 second, hand held. This is perhaps the best stabilization performance I've experienced from any of my previous Nikons...
Thanks. Haven’t had a ton of time yet but it’s an interesting lens thus far. Compared to the 50Z a bit yesterday, I can totally see the place for both. Look forward to using it more.

+1. And congrats . Hope you like the lens.
Death Valley, near Badwater Basin. Was getting late, but then the magical light appeared after all day of clouds. Parked my car and watched the show for an hour. Z6 + Zeiss Milvus 135MM.
These are so beautiful. We've only has snow one time, since we rescued our German Shepard five years ago and I could hardly get him to come inside after playing in it.
I'm sure it's a perspective thing and since we almost never see it, it "seems like" it would be nice.

Beautiful shots, nonetheless.
Thank you. Bruce loves the snow and went a bit nuts yesterday racing up and down the trail.
That's one of the things about living in Metro Vancouver - lots of rain in the winter (it barely ever snows at sea level and when it does the driving turns into a bit of a shit show). Snow is easily accessible though - 3 ski hills within 30-40 mins of driving (not to mention Whistler which is ~2 hours away). Lack of sunshine can be a bit of a downer though.
"I received two confirmations from different sources that Nikon will announce new Z6/Z7 firmware updates next week (probably on Tuesday, December 17th). The new firmware is rumored to have the long-expected ProRes RAW update and improved autofocus. I am not sure if this release will include also the CFExpress update."
Sweet, yea found that after reading your post. I’m happy with the AF but I’ll take better! Hope it helps the 58, I’m not thrilled with that AF, feels like it misses more than it should.

Charles,
Congratulations for your move. I can’t imagine the amount of work it took to make such a historical move. I hope you get the well deserved rest but I look forward to seeing your shots from Spain!!

I doubt it will change much. It's not about the Z or your skill. It's about 58 which can be very rewarding and very frustrating at the same time (from my experience at least - had it, sold it, miss it sometimes).
