All the individual gear threads are great for research, but at the end of the day it's about the image, not the gear. So how about a general thread for images from Z cameras. Cross posting to the Alt Boards as well, since the Z's are a great platform for adapted lenses as well. Here's a random hodge podge from my first few weeks with the Z6.
At risk of creating thread confusion, I'll add a couple to this thread.
These three shots were taken with my Z6, the afternoon I picked it up. I hate feeder shot, but they offer a decent reference for what the body can do. Again, these were all taken within the 1st 15 minutes of using the Z6.
Bluejay in harsh sun. Shot with 300PF.
1/1600, F4, ISO 250
House Sparrow on the shady side of the feeder. Shot with 500PF.
1/640, F5.6, ISO 1800
House Sparrow in the shade of the bush, in sunny yard. Shot with 500PF
1/800, F5.6, ISO 800

does everyone intentionally NOT share exif? or do they not know how to share exif?
As I understand it, the forum only displays EXIF data when you host the image on FM & are a subscribing member. When images are hosted elsewhere (Flickr, etc.) the data is not interpreted from the host site.
I try to include basic info on my posts manually.
Please correct me if I have an incorrect understanding.
The Z6 is fantastic for use with manual lenses-I only wish Nikon would fix the EXIF data showing at least focal length and max. aperture in the correct fields (data is contained in the files).
So here's two examples, one with a real vintage gem and one with a modern classic I just bought, which looks like it might be glued to my camera for the next months. Had posted these to other threads before.

Z6 with Jupiter-3 50mm, at f/5.6, in Avignon, France
Z6 with Voigtländer 40mm, f/1.2, in Mainz, Germany
I like the rendering of the Voigtlander lens. I have the Voigtlander 50 f1.2, both 50 and 40 rendering look identical.

Yes, I got hooked on the Voigtlander through this thread like so many. It has quite a following here on FM, just like the Nikkor 58G, another spectacular lens I fell in love with through the image thread in this forum.
I went with the 40mm as I already own the Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 AI-S and besides really liking the rendering I saw on the thread mentioned above, I like the idea to have a lens that sits right between 35mm and 50mm, my favorite focal lengths so far.
Sorry, is it ok to discuss the gear used in an image thread? If not, just PM me and I'll remove my post, no problem!
