Ya know, I really shouldn't be surprised because I've seen so many examples, but the 24-70 F4 Kit Lens is pretty darn sharp. Because most of my time is spent birding, with longer lenses, I don't have a lot of time with the 24-70. However, we recently visited Butterfly World in the Miami area which gave me a great change to take it for a spin.
It's been crap weather for the last few days.... so I'm itchin' to get out with the Z6 again. My first session with the new body raised a lot of questions about my setup (hopefully resolved now). Here's a shot at a more reasonable ISO of 1600 with the 200-500. I'm really enjoying working with the files that the Z6 produces, IMO very similar to my D750 with slightly better high ISO results.
