Ya know, I really shouldn't be surprised because I've seen so many examples, but the 24-70 F4 Kit Lens is pretty darn sharp. Because most of my time is spent birding, with longer lenses, I don't have a lot of time with the 24-70. However, we recently visited Butterfly World in the Miami area which ave me a great change to take it for a spin.
