Got the 24-50 kit working, sort-of, when it works it's actually pretty good. A pity my copy has issues getting intermittently stuck at about 3' focus distance wider than 35mm. Debating on a return or just drop off at Nikon for service, as the body is working well and I don't want to swap it out (as I bought a kit, I think I'd have to swap the pair if I deal with my dealer rather than Nikon, will have to call & confirm)
Really good variation of photos here !
The "Dreamliner" is probably much more of a flying nightmare for Boing actually !
My girlfriend is departing for Tokyo in about 1 hour with this plane and hopefully it will be fine ! ( Of course it will be ! )
But reading about the various horrific problems which occured with the 787 I am still amazed that it has this name to it !

Cheers. 737 Max is much more of a nightmare though.
In the current pandemic situation I wouldn't want to fly anywhere even if someone paid me to do it.

Right - the 737 is the even bigger issue !
Not flying because of the hassle dealing with quarantine ? ( That would be a dealbreaker for me too, but she has a professional reason for going there ! )

We get notified here how many flights coming to YVR result in Covid exposures (many) - I think I'll wait till everyone is vaccinated.
I absolutely in agreement with you here, Luka! I haven't used Z system much, but from day one I have a feeling, that it is sucha sweet setup. I have 3 Z lenses now and I truly love them...

Love that portrait !! Nice light. Surreal!
I really like the 35S. I can shoot at 1.8 with no frustration. It renders beautiful focus separations and autofocus is very good. Z system makes me a bit lazy and I do not use Tripods as much as I should these days, but when I do, it also gives me more reward. Honest, or transparent rendition but can get drama too. I do keep thinking that I may like this lens more than Zeiss 35/2 distagon. I don’t own 50S, but that lens also seems like a great lens. How do you like 35S?
First 3 with Z35... Weather was nuts here, so my wife was chilling by the fire and I had to grab some. Next 2 with Z85 - she needed a new photo for her lanyard ID and another was just for fun..
Cheers,
Marty
P.S. and OMG! somebody smuggled Canon into Nikon forum!
