Took a short drive to Coyote Valley at the South end of Silicon Valley and it's apparent spring is springing here. California fresh green and the new growth on local trees showing some subtle red and yellowish hues always seems to catch my eye this time of year; and while admittedly not a great shot, hopefully at least one that gives off a little bit of that feeling.
PS: I also have to say I really do love Nikon color!
Z6II with the 28/1.8G lens. I'm really enjoying the draw on this lens, and focus shift problem is non existent on Z (or at least negligible at apertures I shoot it).

Those look nice. I would love to see a Z28mm f1.8S
I’m sure when it comes it’ll be excellent to spectacular like the rest but I’m looking forward to the pancakes myself!
FWIW I’ve had the 35S (and 50S and 85S), they are “better” lenses, especially wide open but that doesn’t mean you can’t get compelling images with these older G lenses too.

I wonder if there is even a 28/1.8S in the pipeline. I'm thinking we're getting the 'pancake' 28 instead of the 1.8 S
And I put 'pancake' in quotes because based on the silhouette posted in that lens lineup picture, it's no pancake but rather something similar in size to the 28/2.8D. I'm good with that as long as it is a solid performer. Same goes for the 40.
