I did some testing of the focus shift shooting feature today. Not much experience with stacking but tried Photoshop and Zerene. Still a lot to learn but it's fun

Interesting toning in these, nice shots. How does the Otis handle on the Z?
Thanks Mathieu! Lately I've been leaning towards slightly desaturating the shadows and punching up some the colour saturation (depending on the scene) for a different look. If I had to pick one lens and one camera body combination, this would be it. IMHO, It's very well balanced and renders beautiful with crazy amounts of detail. I do have the SmallRig Lbrack mounted on it which adds some weight improving the balance and ergo, for me.
BTW love the look of the CV 21mm f1.4 Whats your first impressions?
Good stuff. Kinda looked like you were just pulling highlights ALL the way down, I’ve seen it create a similar look for the right scene. Regardless you’re executing it pretty well with a good exposure point. Thanks for the thoughts on the Otis as well.
Really like the CV 21. It renders a lot like the 40/1.2, and it’s fun shooting wide open landscapes, gives a different look and the CV holds up well too it. My only complaint is it seems it doesn’t reach infinity at f/1.4, close but not quite. By f/2 it’s fine, otherwise the 21/40 is a great pairing and hope they release the 75/1.5 to go with them.

And I'm a little bummed to hear the 21mm can't focus to Infinity at f1.4
I was hoping to buy it and use for some astro and landscape. The Otus can focus to infinity at f1.4 and are tack sharp and is required for my taste.
In fairness could be lens or adapter or just a mismatch. It’s very close so I don’t worry too much, but Astro stress test might be too much.
