Dustin Abbott, one of the few decent YTers in term of lens review. He has some full-res samples up as well. It's not the final review yet so I'm waiting to see his test on the AF speed.

Which he had the GM. I hate that he always split the reviews like this with the first look when I wanted already to see the IQ test...no patience here.

I’m on an IPhone 8+, and wife and kids are sick so I won’t get to look till tomorrow. I know the pictures themselves suck but I’m actually dying for someone to take a look and weigh in!

Exactly, Dustin is a decent reviewer, but the way he splits his reviews could actually be frustrating, especially for subscribers. I told him in a comment before that his channel deserves a lot more subscribers, given the quality of his reviews and the amount of work he puts in them. In my opinion, the length of the videos along with the way he splits them turns a lot of people away from his channel. But he's a nice person nonetheless.

100% agree. He seems good in what he is doing but jeez to watch 20 minute video of just one lens review and in many times 2-3 parts is super painful. Nobody is going to waste so much time. All could be done in 5-7 minutes.

This. I like his style but it's too long and drawn out.

Looks like we get the firmware update on the 11th. So we should have new firmware testing this lens the day before receiving it for some of us at least the later gen Sony cams

Samyang made the lens for the old FW. If you update your A7rIII, you should also get a Sayang dock to update the lens pretty soon, no?

Probably not needed but will see if Samyang does update firmware. I tend to doubt that they would have too. The new firmware coming really is not a speed enhancement but more a functional body one.
