The first is a hybrid Tricolored Heron and most likely Snowy or Great Egret. It shows up at the refuge just about every year.
Looks good for Snowy Egret hybrid, the dark bill and yellow lores are distinctive Snowy Egret features, not Great Egret. Why wouldn't it be a hybrid with Little Blue Heron instead of Tricolored?
Could be, but, if I remember correctly, the discussion last year felt that the feathers at the back of the head and the territorial behavior are more like the Tricolored.

Looking at a Snowy Egret in breeding plumage in the foreground and a Wood Stork in the background. The difference in size between the birds is quite evident and a "spray" of water droplets can be seen falling from the bill of the Snowy Egret.

White-faced Ibis
Non-breeding adults look like the Glossy Ibis, with no white face lining, but the red eye and red skin in front of the eye help to ID it. Seen in Texas in December.
