Looking at a Tricolored Heron.
Fairly heavily cropped, tripod mounted 200-600mm G set to 600mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 500, f8.0, 1/2000 second.
Exposure corrected +0.49 Stops.

Along Black Point Wildlife Drive, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, FL.
Saw this bird while hiking last week in SF. Not sure what it's called but had a unique look and was still for a good 30 min (saw it in pretty much the same position as I passed it by twice)

Only my second time ever trying to shoot BIF, and one of the more humorous shots was sadly out of focus. The cormorants at the rookery in Denver, CO are busy fetching sticks and building their nests. Most find sticks from the bottom of Duck Lake. This guy decided to find something special for his nest.
And a second just to show that AF worked generally when I did my part.
