Hi guys. Sorry I could not make it Saturday. It looks like you guys had a good time. I have really enjoyed your pictures. Grant, that beauty you found reminds me of some of the "classics" Chuck has drug home (only the interiors of those looked worse than their exteriors).
One of the things I am thankful this year is all my new photography buddies! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Sharing an image with all of you that was captured in the front yard of our house just a little over a year ago, with the only digital camera I owned at the time, a P&S. This brave adventurer paid us multiple visits over several weeks before (wisely) disappearing well before the last Thursday of November.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...I sure did!!! I am so thankful for my camera and my ability to take pictures...and I got to use that on Thanksgiving day! I am the photographer for my friend's wedding, and we decided since we were both in the same area on Thanksgiving that I'd take her engagement pictures that day. We went out to the Grist Mill at Stone Mountain and it was perfect! Usually it is packed with people, but we lucked out and had nobody around to interfere with the pictures. I wanted to share one of them and hear what y'all think about it! Hope everyone is doing well on this rainy Monday!!
Hi Robin and Amanda! Welcome to the Atlanta FM group. We try to get together quite often for a day of shooting. Just keep checking back on this forum. It's a great group.
Aquarium is a great idea...now if we can just manage the crowds....
I bought some of those fake ruldoph the reindeer horns for Annie. If the day gets off to a slow start I am going to put them on her and set her off while yelling: Gary! Elk!, Gary!, Elk!!!
Hi all...Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I'll try to make it to the zoo Saturday. Would be great to see you guys.
I made it to the Aquarium last week with my nephews. It will be a great place to shoot once the crowds die down a bit. If you go, make sure you go early in the day though. They limit the number of folks going in but not coming out. By the time we left midafternoon, it was quite crowded.
We have the makings of a great gathering of folks for our zoo shoot on Saturday.
In addition to Mark and Nancy, (who will be arriving from Chattanooga on Friday), Todd is hoping to make it, and so is Britany. Grant is definitely "in"....and rounding out the group at this point are Gary and myself.....Two more folks remain as "possibles".
There's plenty of room for more!.....So, if you're considering joining us, give a shout.
As mentioned before, watch the board Friday evening for a trip advisory, as we keep an eye on the weather.

Great! What gear are you using?
(check PM)
As for the zoo trip: If I can make it, I won't stay for long. I have a party to go to Saturday night and there's too much good football on TV. I would like to meet some of you, though. (and see some of that shiny camera bling)
Woo Hoo! A Nikon shooter! Guess you guys will have to kick in for some more spray paint!
I think I'll be able to make it in the morning. I look forward to seeing all of you there!
