I put together an outing last year at Zoo Atlanta, I'm open to suggestions. Lots of good places such as Callaway Gardens. Hopefully we can get 4 to 6 people for an outing.
I would be interested in getting together also. I am in Woodstock. Earlier this year I shot at the zoo several times and it can be a great spot. I don't think Callaway would be that great right now, but of course this spring.......well you know.
Guys Callaway is always a good place to shoot, granted sping is most likely best. Earthquest puts on three 'birds of prey' shows, nice if you like flight shots. Unfortunately the Butterfly house close Nov 1st for some remodeling. I have a membership to Callaway and can take up to five guest per visit.
The zoo is good year around also, cooler weather especially for the Pandas. Membership here also, one guest per visit.
Give it some thought, maybe one or two more members and we are set.
I figured that was you. Yep long time no hear from. It is time to do a trip to the zoo again. Been awhile. I went to the Botanical Gardens a couple weeks ago at night to shoot the Chihuly Glass. Did not get to spend as much time as I wanted. Lets get together.
Being close to Zoo Atlanta, I'm always up for a trip.
December 4th(Sat) or 5th(Sun), I'm open for either day, the zoo opens at 9:30am. We can wait a bit to see which day will be the best weather wise, or if you have a preference.

I'm in the Atlanta area (Acworth) and would be interested in getting together for some outings. I know a few people at work that might be interested as well. Zoo Atlanta sounds good, but unfortunately, Dec. 4th or 5th are bad for me. Taking Santa pictures and playing in Holiday concerts will make for a long weekend.
I'am in the Atlanta area, I'am the house photograper for Wild Bill's in duluth, and the Track photographer for Road Atlanta! I can set it up at our club for some night time low light fun!
Yea, were big enough, Well not only do I take care of the photography for the club I also take care of the web site and all graphic arts for the club! It's a great job, but I also picked up being a track photographer for Road Atlanta! Let me know when everyone is getting togeather!!
I'm also in Atlanta and I guess I am up for an outing ... I've never been on one and I've got this strange feeling that most of the people there will be 2 or 3 times my age
I would be up for some macro work at the Botanical Gardens or something like that.
I'm in Norcross and would enjoy shooting with the group. I haven't been to Wild Bill's, but my son goes there. All of the venues mentioned so far interest me.
