I'd like to maybe catch up with people sometime in the afternoon to take photos of Oakland Cemetery then maybe roam around town and take some night photos. I can do this either Sat. or Sunday night.
Are you still trying to set up a shoot at Oakland Cemetery? I'll try to make it if it's late afternoon Sunday. Otherwise, I'm out. I understand that it is an awesome and thoughtful place to take photos. Lots of history to take in.
Just joined a few weeks ago, I'm atlanta based. Wouldn't mind meeting other photographers, and networking...then again that's what we all do anyways
I'm actually a little north of Atlanta, in the Roswell Area.
A little about me. I shoot mostly nightlife. I have connections with the Atlanta Club Scene, so I'm asked to take pictures for clubs and events once in a while. Kinda like what Ben Rose does, but he's more preppy white right now and I'm ...lets say the other side of the market.
Hope to get to know the other atlanta photographers, please check my site at http://www.trentchau.com.
Oh I'm a web develepor also, and a retired software trainer (Nice to say retired when you are 24)
I just wanted to say what a great group the Atlanta based members have been and this includes the non local shooters that I've had the pleasure to visit with. Each and every time I've had the experience to meet FM members the outcome has been the same. Fred's site is composed of the very best of photographers, as well as a genuinely good people.
My thanks to those I've meet and all that will be apart of future meetings. Definitely a class act.
I've been a member of FM for about a year now, my schedule unfortunately doesn't leave as much time as I'd like for photography. I think participating in some local group photo outings might help with that.
I live in Atlanta, across from the Fox theater. There are some very good places to shoot around here. Unfortunately it's difficult to get much done because you're constantly being bothered by panhandlers. Shooting as a group might help with that.
My primary interests are in automotive and motorsports photography but pretty much any type of photography appeals to me. I have a friend, who lives in Roswell, that's also very serious about photography and would probably also join in any meet-ups to take photos..
Guys, I haven't been participating in recent shoots as I'm (stupidly) training for the Chicago Marathon on Oct. 9th. You wouldn't believe the mileage that I'm putting in. I'm looking forward to joining you again after the middle of October or when I get injured, whichever comes first. Post those shots of the shoots so I can be with you in spirit.
