Nice! How is the AF with the 70-400 on the A7II?
It's not like a Canon high end DSLR with an L 100-400 mm. It hunts a bit more, but is pretty solid. It takes more practice to get things right. But, I'm totally committed to the Sony alpha series, and the LA-EA4 + 70-400g fits in just fine... The Canikon higher end DSLRs still have the advantage in tele/sports, but I'm fine with Sony when I look at the overall package.
I did a "one lens" trip today at Point Reyes and had a great time. I'll post a couple more shots once I get through them all...
Awesome images this page and last! Derek, Weasel, Bob, Peire,
Some houses from my route today with the ZM 35/2
Gregg
Edit: Derek, those Raven shots are stunning!

CY 100/3.5, dressing up the a7r in dull light. Carl Zeiss made 7000 of these, how many are left?
I don't think I was aware of the 100 3.5 until you started posting these shots. So now frustratingly I have started looking for them on ebay and they do crop up occasionally. There are also 3 available at one particular UK seller. All of these I would have quite happily ignored were it not for your unsettlingly interesting photos. I should ask you to stop posting them really but that would be selfish!
Derek, you really make me miss that g28. I really hope that the replacement filter will prove to bring the a7's corner sharpness to Leica M9 levels without causing too many new issues.

Thanks Shelt. I had the Canon 100-400 and the Nikon 80-400mm V2 before I went totally Sony. Now I have the Sony 70-400 G2 and the Sony A77II for my sport stuff. Would like to try the 70-400 on an A7II someday. For e mount I only have an A6000 and A7 right now, which don't have IBIS.
