I just pre-ordered my A7 today will post pics here soon! I prefer to see more pics w/a we bit of discussion, than some of the huge discussion w/little samples and test newspaper shots
Sean - would love to see some images using the Ulton 21/1.8. I had my eye on that lens. There are a couple of shots on flickr with the a7r and that lens but they were small.

I'll post some full size images on flickr soon, from initial impressions, they are all quite sharp wide open but need stopping down for corners as expected.
Can't wait to see how you fare with the CV21/1.8.

I think they give a little more DR but not that much.
But I can use higher ISO values without hesitation which is a big plus.
The 5dII hat much less DR and different colors, in the end I liked them quite a bit. Sony colors are a little less natural I think, but this might also be because of my PP.
Hmm, why should 100% crops of the corners be an indicator of performance for images like these? Cornershaprness doesn't matter for these (or 95% of my images).

Agree re the far corners. WB is critical to colour in Sony files, even slight shifts matter. The FDs and MC/Ds are shaping up very nicely, the better old Nikkors will as well.

Thanks Joakim, I've uploaded some photos from the 21/1.8 to Flickr which I took last night but these are long exposures at night and don't really show the corners. I've also uploaded more from the FD50L and FD85L and one from the OM24/2.8 in the same set.
I did some more tests today showing details in the corners which I will upload later when Lightroom stops playing up.
