Profeel is quite good, but I suspect that if you've only ordered the body, they may take the 24-105L out of the kit and send the rest of it to you. Note, I said may, not necessarily. They are reputable dealer, but the 5DIII is in such high demand, they may have no choice.
I bought my 7D from them and do not hesitate to buy from them again.

Have been EXTREMELY happy with my first Profeel experience so far.
Saw on here yesterday at 3 PM or so that they had them, called them up, got verbal confirmation, ordered it, got a confirmation call back, got another call today to clarify an unclear detail in my address, was told it was shipping today, got my UPS tracking number a bit later, and it was just updated a few hours ago to verify I will have my camera by end of the day Friday.

Just FYI, I did get mine about 3:30 central time. I don't know exactly how much earlier I ordered than you.
5DIII is in stock at the Camera Store in Calgary, but they aren't allowed to sell until the 22nd. I picked up two 600EX-RT flashes just before I left for TOronto and will hopefully be able to pick up the 5DIII on saterday, when i return.
They apparently got a lot more 5DIII kits then bodies and since I prepaid an ordered on the announcement day, hopefully, I'll get one of the bodies.

Ditto that for me!!! They were very helpful & friendly! Amazingly easy to deal with!! They are now on my favorites photo shopping folder & I will certainly check with them before I buy anything else photographic!! Very excited about Friday!

They got around 8 in, I picked up the first two. The only problem is that i got the call from the store, as I was leaving the office to catch a flight. I barely had enough time to get home, drop them off and grab my suitcase. I have to wait until late Friday night to actually try them. THe box they are in is twice the size of the 580EXII box, very thick manual and there is a filter holder and a couple of filters. Can't say anything more then that until I get home.
Frankly, I wish they could have sold the camera, but I am hoping that I'm high enough on the list to get one. I asked about the grip, but was told that no grips came in.

Well back with an early morning update. I had said that I thought mine had shipped but rereading the email it looks like it hasn't shipped yet from Profeel. So I'm still in limbo land and will contact Profeel as soon as they open this morning and see why it hasn't shipped. I talked to them around 8:30AM PST yesterday morning and was told they had the camera in stock and just had to wait for PayPal to clear the payment I made via VISA. Got a second email saying the payment was sorted at around 1PM PST but nothing since.
Getting more worried that I'm going to have to just cancel either BH or Profeel and just wait the other out. People were told they sold out of their in hand stock yesterday but I'm not sure if one of those is earmarked to leave this morning via UPS for me or not. People saying that BH can't even fill everyone that ordered on March 1st evening is not promising for my March 2nd early morning preorder either.
Maybe it is worth just paying the extra $200 and getting it from Canada either CameraCanada who lists them as in stock or thecamerastore that sounds like it will have stock and be able to sell as of this morning.

I was in the same boat. Ordered from Profeel yesterday morning. Was told they had the bodies in hand. I paid by PayPal. I had to wait for them to send me an email invite from PayPal. But I was at work and I couldn't complete the transaction til after lunch. I called Profeel in the afternoon, they told me I missed the initial allotment. I spoke to a sharon last night and she was confident my camera will be shipped out Friday, and will arrive Tuesday. We'll see.
I cancelled my b&h preorder. Just because there were so many varying stories as to when they may ship.
My problem is that because I'm in Canada it is a bigger hassel to return one of them if they both all of a sudden ship at the same time. I will probably have to call the shipping company and tell them to return it before it crosses the border. I should probably just cancel BH also but will try to phone Profeel and get a solid confirmation before I do. Wish they opened earlier than 9:30 because BH opens a 9AM. Everyone should also remember BH is closed for over 1 week in April for passover. If you haven't had your order ship before April 6th then you will have another 8 day wait even if they have them coming in stock.

My Amazon order from March 16 still states "Not yet shipped We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date..."
Anyone else who preordered *THE KIT* from Amazon have a shipping update? If this doesn't change/ship by next Monday, I'm going to cry (Sold my camera back so all I've got for pictures is an iPhone)

Thank you for the update! I'm glad to hear they are in the wild. I'm hoping Adorama sends my order soon! When you get a chance to play with them I would love to hear what you think.
