i ordered from Profeel this morning. Paid via Paypal. I received a confirmation email, no tracking number yet, as it has not shipped.
esther (the nice woman i dealt with) said they were in stock at the time i ordered. my camera may not ship today because "it's crazy here". but she said it should arrive in PA by monday or tuesday. we'll see
hopefully i will receive a tracking number soon because i want cancel my b&h order. with my luck b&h will ship before Profeel sends me a tracking #
Mine should be shipping tonight via overnight... Cancelled my pre-order with Adorama. I got my kit from Imaging World, they had a few in stock when I called. They said it would ship tonight, and was cheaper (shipping was about half for overnight) then Adorama. So win win.
I just had a on-line chat with Amazon and the CS rep said that my order was in the initial allocation and I would get it the next day after they got it in their warehouse. He did not know when they would be getting it though.
i just called Profeel to change my shipping to 2nd day air (i'm getting more impatient by the minute), and esther told me i missed the first allotment (i was led to believe it was IN STOCK when i ordered). oh well. she "promised" that i would receive it by this coming tuesday via free UPS ground.
that's fine with me. i'm going to cancel my b&h pre-order now. i was probably in the first allotment there and may very well have received the camera by this weekend, but at least Profeel let me know where i stand.
ordered 3/4. just received my shipping notice from adorama. used fatwallet link when I ordered, so get 105 bucks back from them, plus another 1.5% from costco amex, and an extra year of warranty.

If you missed their initial allotment, then you won't get it on Tuesday UPS ground. For that to happen they would have to get a second shipment between now and the end of the week, ship it to you, and have it to you in two days.
emailed profeel as well after placing an order a few hours ago...and got confirmation that I will receive my camera early next week. If that is the case, Id be ecstatic considering I waited until 03/14 to preorder on Amazon and didnt expect to get my camera until April.
So time will tell...if what they say is true, I'll be impressed...but I tend to agree with deepblue in that if the initial allocations are already sold out, I highly doubt I'll be getting it early next week, but I've seen stranger things.
yeah, i probably cost myself a few days/week by canceling my b&h pre-order, as adorama is apparently shipping as of today. b&h will likely do the same very soon...
oh well, that's what i get for being so impatient!

Haven't heard any orders shipping from b&H but Adorama is confirmed to have started today. Just got my tracking from Profeel. Ordered last night. Good luck to everyone!
Profeel is now sold out of their allotment for today and tomorrow. Last I checked, they had some available for shipping Friday so might be worth giving them a call, they are very transparent about it (and one reason I really like them).

thanks for the info. now my conversation with them makes more sense. i assume since i missed todays allotment, i will be in tomorrow's. or at the very worst, fridays. that should/could? make their target of tuesday delivery possible

I recommend, if you can wait, to order from Crutchfield. $172 back due to 4% Fatwallet cash back on the kit, and than 5% gift card ($215 on the kit for me) from Crutchfield due to 4300 Crutchfield reward points. Total win! That makes the kit only $3,912 delivered after those discounts, not even factoring in credit card rewards!
I got lucky and ordered just after they got them in yesterday, and it shipped already.
