Someone likely knows, Buddy perhaps, but not me. I'm jumping in since I noted with a bit of help from Andy that you're selling a great many manual focus lenses. Perhaps you've already said something on the thread, but I'm curious about your decision. I did note you withdrew the 16 f/3.5 AI so I'm guessing you're not completely cleaning house. What's up? If you're willing to say.
Thanks for the comments and likes everyone. Definitely is the season to ramble around with a camera. The rainy season is over, the sun is shining and flowers are in bloom. What's not to like?
So a rhododendron on a hillside behind a church I visited this morning. I noted it when I arrived, then went to the car to grab my camera after my meeting. I'm still shooting with the 180 f/2.8 AI-s with a 20mm tube. With my preoccupation with converted pre-AI lenses over the last few years, I've not said much about this lens which has always been a favorite of mine. It is a stellar performer that I bought in pristine condition years ago. I love what it does with tubes, in part because it has a quite long focus throw which gives me a great deal of latitude in setting up a shot. Yes, it is one of my desert island lenses...

Thanks Curtis. And no, the clear liquid diet only lasted a day. Yesterday I had turkey, potatoes and carrots for lunch, salmon, rice, and broccoli for dinner. Breakfast this morning was a cheese and mushroom omelet, english muffins, and a cup of coffee with cream (FINALLY!)
Laura, if they were feeding me like that I'd stay in the hospital as long as I could... Actually, given the daily cost of hospitalization they really SHOULD be offering gourmet meals...
As everyone is suggesting... stay on the first floor. If I recall correctly you have at least one son. Is he handy with tools? Installing a handrail on the stair up to the second floor is not rocket science. Perhaps it is time...
I think I'll share one more, this one from up the street where I live... green on green beneath a few tall fir trees on a neighbors property with the same setup.

Easy to do; hard to recover from!
Here are a few shots of some shoreline rocks at Cable Bay, of which the first is courtesy of the 55 f/1.2 SC and the second and third are from the 24 f/2.8 NC. The lenses were mounted on my Fuji X-T2 with help from the Zhongyi focal reducer.
Love the "green on green" Curtis. Have to try out the 180 with tubes soon.
That first pic has some really groovy erosion, Glen.
The police station looks bright and friendly Reagan. I suppose it makes it easier to approach them for assistance if needed for tourists.
That Silver Arrow needs a backup camera, wow, talk about small rear windows.

If you have the 180 f/2.8 definitely throw an extension tube and play a bit. I know you've been posting regularly on the thread Ray so you aren't in need to inspiration, but I clearly need it from time to time, as my absence from the thread has proven. Using extension tubes gives me a whole new perspective on things and I'm easily mesmerized by what I encounter. I need to try a 36mm tube on the 300 f/4.5 AI-s ED IF. I'm reminded at this moment that I actually started a thread that is still pinned in the Marco World forum Shooting With Tubes that is still active, though like this thread the early pages have been mothballed. I did a fair amount of shooting with the 300... in fact the first photo on that thread was taken with that lens.
You might want to check out that thread and go play a bit with extension tubes.

I was always told it stood for Export Product and was sold on military bases outside the US. I have a 28/3.5 that has the marking. From the research I did on the lens, more than likely it was picked up during the start of the Vietnam War. It’s very beat up, maybe even saw some action there.
Two sons, daughter's house, but they are moving out the end of May. So far I've stayed on the first floor, luckily there's a half bath.

That would be great and would look forward to meeting with you. I will certainly drop you a line the next visit to London. We were just there to visit friends for a whopping 1.5 days on the way to Amsterdam. The weather was terrible but the Pubs were terrific as usual.
Have a fun visit with your family, June is quickly approaching.
In the first one my eyes go to the centre but because I don't really see anything of interest I gravitate to the tree on the left and then to the right hand tree.
In the second frame my eyes immediately are drawn to the ladies exiting lower right.
So I would say the first one makes me look harder.
