Just read on Leighton's Homestead Farm Facebook page that he is having a major op to remove a liver tumour.
Get well soon Big fella !
Sorry to read this but I have no doubt that our friend Leighton is strong enough to overcome this matter.
All the best to you, Leighton.

For Leighton - knowing his love of doors I searched my archives for this one of the "Shop at Paternoster" which is a fishing village on the South African west coast about 100 miles north of Cape Town. The local dialect of Afrikaans is pretty colourful and "Oep ve Koep" means "Open for Business". A quaint little genral store selling anything from a grass broom to pots and pans. Also delightful breakfasts in a corner nook.
Get well Leighton and best wishes for a speedy recovery from Knysna.

Leighton, you were the second person to welcome me to this thread after my first posted images. Really made me feel part of the group.
Wishing you a speedy and successful recovery.
+1 Leighton, I too remember you being amongst the first to welcome me to this amazing thread, which has become an important part of my life for several years now. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this trying time.
today I went deep in my MF archives - D7000 shots from July 2012 with the 300mm f/4.5 AI EDIF. Similar images were processed and probably posted here 5 years ago, but these are definitely new takes of those three planes seen in Oshkosh at the EAA that summer
