Thanks for the comments and likes everyone. Definitely is the season to ramble around with a camera. The rainy season is over, the sun is shining and flowers are in bloom. What's not to like?

So a rhododendron on a hillside behind a church I visited this morning. I noted it when I arrived, then went to the car to grab my camera after my meeting. I'm still shooting with the 180 f/2.8 AI-s with a 20mm tube. With my preoccupation with converted pre-AI lenses over the last few years, I've not said much about this lens which has always been a favorite of mine. It is a stellar performer that I bought in pristine condition years ago. I love what it doesn't with tubes, in part because it has a quite long focus throw which gives me a great deal of latitude in setting up a shot. Yes, it is one of my desert island lenses...
