Now _that_ is the kind of weather I was used to in the Danish summer when I used to live there! I was wondering if you really lived in Denmark, Morten, as you keep posting pictures of beautiful sunny days and clear blue skies. I mostly shot city-scapes and night-time interiors when I lived in Copenhagen, and whenever I had my camera with me "in nature", it always seemed to be either raining or overcast. Of course, you're in the west, so maybe the weather is just better in that part of Denmark!

Anyways, very nice compositions.

Many thanks - Ha ha you're absolutely right there should be many more pictures with windy, rainy and cold feel
But often stay home these days 😂

Greetings with a fiery sunrise from the NC coast.

This was taken a couple weeks ago with wildfire smoke dominating the air.

I have two more little groupings of photos left to post from last year's Hot August Nights car show, of which one group is all infrared, and the other---which is the set below---involve only the visible spectrum. This set was shot with the 25-50 f/4 Ai-s on my Fuji X-T4.

Anyone shopping for glass? I am going to be letting most of my kit go. I injured my back pretty badly at work and I am looking at surgery to repair the damage. At the moment, I can barely hold my phone to take pictures. I have been mostly on my back waiting on the insurance company to do their thing (it's a workers comp claim) and that is taking forever. I am thinking I will be left with my 28/3.5, 55/1.2, and Nippi the 8.5/2. I have one AF lens that I am considering what to do with as its pretty heavy, the 24-120/4, but its a stellar piece of glass and I wouldn't need to carry anything else with it.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you can find satisfactory treatment soon.

I do not have upload&sell (or whatever it is called) so I don't know how it is supposed to work. What glass are you talking about? I don't exactly need another lens but I have no AF lens at all. I miss pics while trying to focus on a subject that won't stay still, and I never get to take advantage of the supposedly great AF of the Z5ii. Of course I wouldn't be able to post those pics here...

You don't need to have an "Upload & Sell Membership" to buy lenses, only needed to post items for sale. Kwoodard does have upload membership so they can just post them up and you'd be able to buy (and get feedback).

I'm always interested in vintage Nikon lenses in good condition I'm sure you'd get some hits if you posted whatever you're wanting to sell up. But, I do hope your back gets better and I'd hate for you to have to sell off your gear

What I know for sure will go are my long glass. 300/4.5 AI, 400/5.6 AIS, 300/2.8 AIS (probably the sharpest lens I own save the new 24-120/4 S). I have three of the TC's. I have an 80-200/4.5 with the square baffle. Its a little rough, but the glass is excellent. I have a second 55/1.2 AI that has a scratch right next to the serial number ring. Sent it off for a cleaning and got it back like this. I might have more, but I think that is all of the Nikon stuff.

Both with bellows Nikkor-P 105/4 on D700

Still waiting for glasses to be remade. The doctor wrote the prescription down wrong in one eye the first time.

Well done Ken.

I got a shot in my "good" right eye, waiting for it to heal.

The surgical consultation is taking the longest time. My injury was on 6/4…still have not heard from them. I’ve called many times, the occupational medicine group has called many times. I’m getting close to having permanent nerve damage at this point.

So sorry to read this Kevin. When I saw "prodigal" George's gorgeous pictures I immediately thought we haven't heard from you in a while. Really sorry to read this. Hope you receive the medical attention you need and that it is successful.

Lovely engine bays, Glen. Soon we shall have nothing to drool at but sewing machines with onboard computers.
