Actually "Stivali Italia" (Italian boots) is an iconic 1986 work by Cinzia Ruggeri where the shape of the Italian peninsula becomes a wearable boot, while Sicily and Sardinia are two clutch bags. The outline of the country has inspired artists of all ages, but with Ruggeri it becomes a functional sculpture, not only a symbol of Made in Italy, but its genuine product and, at the same time, an ironic and caustic statement. A representation of femininity and the overturning of the conventional notion of what a work of art, a design object and a fashion accessory is. The body of the person who wears the boots shapes the outline of Italy and is in turn shaped by it.

A basket I found on the kitchen counter this afternoon. Apricots, Nectarines, Tangerines, and Banana Peppers. All focus stacks (20+ images) shot at f2 with the 50mm f1.2 ais with the D850

Now _that_ is the kind of weather I was used to in the Danish summer when I lived there! I was wondering if you really lived in Denmark, Morten, as you keep posting pictures of beautiful sunny days and clear blue skies. I mostly shot city-scapes and night-time interiors when I lived in Copenhagen, but whenever I had my camera with me "in nature" it always seemed to be either raining or overcast so I didn't take that many pictures outside the city. Of course, you're in the west, so maybe the weather is just better in that part of Denmark!
Anyways, very nice compositions.
