I've yet to seriously do any closeup with the micro MFNG this summer, Tim e to break that trend I think, inspired by this post.

James, building reflections off the glass towers are common in Manhattan specially with the high Sun. One just has to be there at the right time.Here is another taken shortly before the Chrysler Building photo.

My yard is getting hard to maintain. I bought one of those 60 tooth 10" saw blades to attach to my weed wacker. It is a scary sight, but extremely effective. A Tiger Lilly paid the price as I was focused on leaf structure and didn't even notice the blossom waving 7 feet off the ground. This is my penance with the 135mm f2 ai wide open

@GroWeb - thank you! Interestingly, after decades of favoring the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, my wife and I have come to prefer the island's east side, especially the scenic stretch between Nanaimo and Comox. With its charming seaside communities, and ever-changing ocean views, it's truly a photographer's paradise.
