Rafael, wish you a full and speedy recovery. In a pinch, you may be able to use the rear lcd which should be easy on the eyes.
Cortona, Italy, a short stay to visit with my cousin that was in the area. There was a secondary reason that is on the tweaking schedule.
It is a very well preserved Medieval hill top town whose origins date to the 8th century BC. The stone walls that surround the city were built by the Etruscans during the 4th century BC. It was far busier than expected and was a total pain to find a parking spot.
The weather was mostly rain but that did not deter the appetite. Osteria del Teatro, an inviting restaurant that was terrific on all counts.
Thanks! Re: large screen, I actually enjoy just looking out the window more. I do ride some on Zwift, but mainly in the winter. The Concept2 bike erg has its own software (ErgData) and will connect with Zwift, but Zwift is better with an actual bike on a hub trainer. I think the last serious riding I did on Zwift was the Tour of Watopia earlier in the year.
I qualified for the North Carolina Senior State Games in late September. 3 road bike time trials on the 24th. So focusing on training for that now. Will be back on Zwift later this year.
Congrats on the qualifier George! I'll have to track the results in late September to see your name on the podium.
I don't do indoor trainers even though we have one in the basement that my wife uses. That's one reason why I hate myself the first few rides of every spring where I question the life decision of getting on a bike!

Best wishes for a quick recovery Rafael, and an even more successful second surgery.

Nice. looks like you're elevated in this shot.
A lot of future utility poles there.
Yes, there's a nice canopy walk in Midland, Michigan that we visited last week. I actually did the perspective correction in LR, but decided to leave it uncorrected in the end. Here's another shot with the 28mm (the only MF lens that I shot with on the trip) from the canopy walk.

Love the car in the front on the last photo! What make is that? I can make out Metropolitan on the side, but not sure if that's the make or model.

So I am off photography for 4 or 6 weeks. But there are old photos to post!
Best wishes for success that makes the inconvenience worthwhile, Rafael! I'm about to undergo some oral surgery in a couple of weeks, which I am hoping will not lead to lengthy inconvenience. We shall see. As my mother used to say, aging is not for cowards!
Here is another set of monochromes from Courtenay, all taken with the 20 f/3.5 UD.

I'm loving your processing on these and the others.

Best wishes Raphael. As for the hiatus you’ve got a couple Vettes to wash and ceramic coat. 🤣

All the best, Rafael. Your MF skill should benefit from this.
Have lots and lots of dust on the gfx sensor so apologies if I missed any ! It still has issues with the shutter button sticking so will have to get the sensor cleaning while it's in for repair.
It's hard to do, but follow directions given by medical team to ensure the best possible recovery. When I had my shoulder surgery way back, one of the first questions I asked was how long till I could pick up cameras again... that's when I found out the doc was also a Nikon shooter, and was hoping for a D700 for Christmas. His wife surprised him with a D3 instead
