Leighton, the concert was in May 1989 and suspect it was awesome. I am with you.
You are welcome.

I saw them in the grounds of the Palace of Versailles in Paris in 88 and a rather special one in a gondola in the lagoon off St. Mark's Square in Venice in 89, a concert that the councillors of Venice blamed for the sound vibrations causing more sinking of the houses/islands.

Huss, love that piano lady in the upper right, and the harmony of the lower left. Shout out as well for that 50 f1.2 portrait, just beautiful.
Samy, nice shot and mood of Ellicott City. I remember the images from that last flood playing out on the TV screens.
Regina, I enjoyed that last B&W from Utrecht. Must have been fairly early to get such empty streets.
Colin, those OXO windows seem like a pretty blatant thumb your nose at the planning commission. Surprised that got approved architecturally.
Leighton, something I've never seen at a farmer's market that I've been to, a mushroom vendor. Seems like a rich photo playground.
George, I like that old school "miniature effect" you created. I remember a whole slew of those photos coming out when Nikon introduced their first TS lenses. (at least for this Nikon-centric photographer). What, a pain cave with no large screen in front of the trainer? Do you Zwift?
Glen, enjoying your classic car series with the classic lenses. The one that has reached out to me the most is that red steering wheel withthe 5.8 f1.4S.
There've been an awful lot of great photos showing up here of late (as usual!). I've Liked 'em all, but here are a few for special mention.

For me, the divergent behaviour of the hands on the right makes a story of this excellent image, Huss; they seem to be waving back at you!

There's deer aplenty around here. Sometimes they show up at the right time in the right spot. 105mm f2.8 AIS Micro.
Very nicely atmospheric photo, Ray; I can almost smell the forest!

The OXO building on London's Southbank.
OXO wanted to place advertising on the outside of the tower but were not granted planning permission so instead they created these windows that also light up at night.

You make your IR cameras sing, Colin!
Thanks to all for your Likes and comments on my recent photos. Here are a few more from Courtenay, showing side views of three different automobiles through the perspective of the 5.8 f/1.4 S (first shot) and the 20 f/3.5 UD (second and third images).
Took this one last weekend from Seastreak which a super speedy cruiser heading to Belford, New Jersey.
The skyline was unfortunately saturated in smoke from the Canadian wildfires which wrecked havoc on the clarity and colors. I attempted to rescue the photograph using Nik Analog Efex which did a decent job of clearing up the mess.

Hope that air doesn't travel down here. Took me two months to recover from the bad air from those earlier summer fires.

Love the car in the front on the last photo! What make is that? I can make out Metropolitan on the side, but not sure if that's the make or model.

Looks like a fun ride otherwise.
Samy, it is a fun ride with terrific views along the way.
We have also had huge air quality problems compliments of the fires, it is very nasty stuff. Next time I take such a cruise, I am certainly checking the air quality reports beforehand. All but two of the photos taken were useless.
Is there a photo missing ? I was expecting a beach ?
Water hazard indeed ! My friend who plays golf here in Cairns frequently posts pics of the Estuarine (Saltwater) Crocs that frequent the golf courses here on his FB.
Have lots and lots of dust on the gfx sensor so apologies if I missed any ! It still has issues with the shutter button sticking so will have to get the sensor cleaning while it's in for repair.
Had my first cataract operation with an eye pressure procedure, all is well so far but I was not aware that it is weeks of time for eyesight to return to 'normal' and the first two weeks are of extreme care with the operated eye. On top of that there are two weeks time between the first eye and the second.
So I am off photography for 4 or 6 weeks. But there are old photos to post!

Clifton Beach suburb does have holiday accommodation but no tourist cafes or restaurants on the beach.
Palm Cove gets more people on their beach as there are more tourists and restaurants all along the beach front.

Thanks! Re: large screen, I actually enjoy just looking out the window more. I do ride some on Zwift, but mainly in the winter. The Concept2 bike erg has its own software (ErgData) and will connect with Zwift, but Zwift is better with an actual bike on a hub trainer. I think the last serious riding I did on Zwift was the Tour of Watopia earlier in the year.
I qualified for the North Carolina Senior State Games in late September. 3 road bike time trials on the 24th. So focusing on training for that now. Will be back on Zwift later this year.
Are you on it?
George
