Edward - Both portraits are great.. I've always found that I could care less about starbursts, and have never factored that into my decision to own a lens. Funny that you mention it though, it's something that would kill owning the lens for K.R.
Ron - Since you mentioned the 100/2, let me explain my decision. I actually REALLY wanted this lens. Several things kept me away from it. One, when I tried the sample at the Leica store, none of my shots were sharp. The lens was either broken or my technique was poor. From what I've read, a few people are saying they've had AF issues with their 100/2 (it really put me off, since I've already had to many issues with my S-system). Yes I know the DOF is shallow, but I've also seen sharp images with this lens, so it makes me think people are getting dud lenses.
Second, I looked at as many samples as were around, and it didn't seem to have the same falloff that I like, and the bokeh was again forced (similar to the 120APO). Which made me question it's usefulness over the 70/2.5 since they're close in length, but the 70mm renders a scene the way I like.
The last thing that kept me away was a bit of a sillier reason, but if I did buy the 100/2, I would sell or not use the 70/2.5 and get a 45/2.8 like you mentioned (I would skip on the 35 at that point as well). The problem with the 45/2.8 isn't the IQ, but the fact that being a 35mm equivalent lens, means I'll definitely need a second body. Switching from the 100 to the 45 would be to frequent in a work day. So I'd be forced to use a second body. Whereas with the 70, I can almost call the S-system a perfect one lens system. And just switch to the 35/120 as needed (which would be infrequently with a 56mm lens as my go to lens).
I'm also waiting to see what the S-007 can do, the 100/2 might look great on it. I'm hoping for usable 6400 ISO, with the almost forced 250th shutter the camera isn't a low light monster, but you could actually shoot in low light with 6400 ISO in your hand 
BTW - I like the bold colors in your images. Always do.
zhangyue - I'll agree.. The more I use the S-system, the more I feel spoiled for lens quality. I still really like the very capable 21ZE, 50MPZE, 100MPZE and if they were AF, I'd probably use them to shoot weddings. No complaints about IQ from those lenses, and the rendering is quite pleasing to my eye (plus macro). I'm honestly finding that the 70/2.5 really is all I need for the system. A wide would be nice, and a macro opens up possibility for close focus shots and the odd time I need more reach.. But this really feels like a less is more system. And you know I don't say that lightly. Considering my M lens collection was suppose to be a 3 lens kit, and is now substantially larger (not even gonna put a number on it). EDIT: Just to clarify, I actually still like the 100MPZE better then the 120APO. Though the 120APO is a technically superior lens in every way. (My opinion might change after more use, as I've owned the 100MPZE for YEARS to be fair)
Will try to get some 120APO shots up soon.
