They came out better than I expected. One new thing I learned with my copy of Cy28 was that in medium distance, I can't quite trust focus assist indicator on D700. It is ususally spot on, but with less contrasty scene, it can give incorrect reading.
Well, just purchased a C/Y 21 2.8 and C/Y 100MP 2.8 for my 5D MKII. Also picked up a NEX 5 to see what they look like on there! Like a kid in a candy store
Darn! I just tried mine on my 5D2 and gues what - mirror issues. Dammit! Now what? (I tried other adapter - I have two kinds). It hits the mirror at each focussing distance
I recently looked at some old wide open shots of my now retired Canon 50/1.4 and the Contax 50/1.7 and there is a definite difference in the way the DoF drops off wide open and even stopped down to f/2.8 with the Contax. Its very striking and it gives my shots at close to mid distance lots of presence. I love this lens at those distances.
Of course at infinity and stopped down is what its also known for...
